Caroline Leblanc, PhD

Caroline Leblanc is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Université de Sherbrooke and a member of the Institut universitaire sur les dépendances. She is a committed individual whose career embodies a steadfast struggle for the dignity, recognition, and rights of people experiencing homelessness. Through a critical lens rooted in social justice, she examines the exclusionary structures that perpetuate marginalization and oppression.

Caroline also works as a consultant on homelessness, supporting community and public sectors in engaging affected individuals, co-constructing knowledge, and developing inclusive and strategic practices grounded in human rights. Her vision is oriented toward transforming social systems to create living conditions that uphold the rights to dignity, safety, and justice for people living in contexts of exclusion.
