Documenting so as not to ignore reality
This research documents mortality among people experiencing homelessness in Quebec in order to better understand, respond to and prevent deaths.
It is part of a collaborative and a social-transformation approach aimed at highlighting the inequalities that have contributed to deaths in the context of homelessness.
This study seeks to deepen our understanding of this reality beyond the statistics to help prevent these deaths among people experiencing homelessness and to honor each life lost and the communities affected.
