MD, MSc, CCMF (MT)
Dr. Marie-Ève Goyer is a family physician and holds a Master’s in Community Health from the Université de Montréal. For over 20 years, she has worked with individuals facing addiction and homelessness in downtown Montreal, as well as volunteering with Médecins du Monde and providing care at Hôpital Pierre-Boucher.
She serves as the Deputy Medical Chief of Homelessness, Addiction, and Mental Health Services at the CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal and as the Scientific Director of the Équipe de soutien clinique et organisationnel en dépendance et itinérance (ESCODI). She is also a clinical associate professor at the Université de Montréal.

What is not documented remains invisible. Documenting the deaths of people experiencing homelessness helps make needs visible, inform decisions, and promote more equitable access to healthcare.
